Nourhan Hesham is writer & strategist based in Toronto. She is currently a copywriter at Mejuri and was previously copywriter at VIRTUE, the creative agency by VICE. She has written for Cléo Journal, Mada Masr, CBC Arts, VICE, NOW Toronto and worked on clients such as Sephora, Palm Bay, IRISA Cannabis, Kid Studio and Kotn. She is also the co-founder of Take Notes, a resource guide for all those who identify as women and non-binary in professional spaces. She holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto.

With/out Pretend an independent Toronto-based publisher focused on producing, promoting and distributing works by women, including those who identify as femme, queer, trans, and persons of colour. The night included a reading where 10 women shared personal stories of their unresolved feelings. I was chosen as one of the 10 speakers in 2018.
